13.16 Memorize the Qal Perfect Strong Paradigm
Qal Perfect \(Pre =\) קָ and \(V_S = A\)
- Below is the complete paradigm. Be sure to listen to Izzy read the forms with the paradigm verb, קטל and take note of pronunciation and accents.
- 3FS and 3CP forms are, strictly speaking, Vocal Sheva not Silent Sheva
- In academic settings, these would be pronounced: qa-tuh-LAH and qa-tuh-LOO
- In modern pronunciation, sometimes there is little audible difference between vocal and silent
- Repeat this several times until you have the forms memorized
