Lesson 4 Hebrew Nouns
To comprehend Biblical Hebrew, we must understand how nouns are formed, how they are pluralized, and how to look words up in a dictionary. Often, we need to employ the Rule of Sheva to help us identify the dictionary form of a word.
Nouns consist of a person, place, thing, or idea and can be singular, dual or plural. Hebrew also introduces the concept of “gender.” This lesson will review aspects of the Hebrew noun with specific attention focused on pluralization rules.
We will also learn the Rule of Sheva, which is responsible for the most common spelling variations in the Hebrew Bible
